The client approached us to translate the entire website's content, including text, headings, menus, and other textual elements, into simplified Chinese. They also wanted their logo text and design to be localized for a Chinese audience. The client provided CCJK with the source HTML files, images, PHP files, and style sheets related to the website.CCJK Solution:
- Every translator at CCJK is proficient in handling HTML files, considering it a standard practice in the translation industry. The ability to translate HTML files is essential for maintaining the formatting and structure of web content.
- The project manager prepared the HTML files, imported them into SDL Studio to protect the tags, and preserved the English format of the translations when we saved the translated version.
- To ensure the highest quality of the translations, CCJK strictly followed the client’s instructions, and the translations were performed by the most skilled native speakers of the target language, simplified Chinese.
- After the first round of translation was done, we assigned another linguist to proofread the translation, and after that, the PM used the QA tool to check the translations to make sure there were no missing translations, inconsistencies, or spelling errors.
- Our professional designer took care of its logo localization. He used proper fonts and style to create a clean and well-designed logo for the Women's Health website.
