TOWN Translation

About the project:
TOWN has some neighborhood guides that need to be translated into Mandarin. These neighborhood guides are formatted as PPT file. They need translators who are fluent in English and mandarin languages, both written and verbal to deal with the project and ensure that the technical terms and terminologies are accurate and remain consistent throughout translation real estate documents. There are also some Pictures that have English words in it, which also need to be translated and localized into Mandarin.

Our solution:
For language translation:
After getting the PPT files from our client, CCJK project manager use Trados TagEditor generate the well-organized TTX file for each PPT. And then, we assign the job to several seasoned translators to meet the deadline of the project. Each TTX file pass through at least three linguists to ran a strict TEP (Translation, Editing and Proofreading) process. That is to say, we translate from scratch by a linguist, then pass the translated documents to another editor for reviewing, and finally to a 3rd proofreader for polishing.

For Graphics Localization:
Some of the graphics in these PPT have English texts, which have to be translated first in a separate file, then replace the existing English texts by our graphics designers, as pure translators are unable to deal with graphics directly. Our graphic designers handle these images perfectly and there had not a vestige of editing.
