Pioneer Investments wanted to adapt their fund materials, DM update, NABV, portfolio update, yearly outlook, investment manager’s report, and other marketing materials into the languages of their issuance countries in Asia, which included Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Indonesian, etc. The client provided the original files in InDesign or FrameMaker format, and requested the same format back with the exact layout as the original version. The important part was the accuracy of the written communication, as the translated copy would be distributed to a broad audience that needs financial services.Solution We Offered
- Assigned a dedicated team of translators, editors, and DTP operators for each language (Chinese Simplified, Traditional, Indonesian, etc.). This ensured consistent terminology and a one-stop solution.
- The client provided the original files in InDesign or FrameMaker format. CCJK handled the entire process: translation, editing, proofreading, DTP (typesetting/layout), and delivery. The final product maintained the exact layout, thus maximizing efficiency.
